Maurice Cody Child Care has a licensed capacity for 110 children ages Preschool to 12 years. The Junior/Senior Division has capacity for 66 School Age children from Grades 2 to 6. Early Learning and Care is provided for the School Age children during the time they are not participating in school classes.
School Age Programme Highlights:
- Planned daily programme and flexible schedule accommodate; individual needs, interests, strengths, abilities, learning styles, independent decision making and responsible choices.
- Opportunities for quiet/active, large/small, group/individual, child/teacher initiated activities.
- Feedback from children influence programme activities and options.
- Cooking Club provides new food experiences and teaches introductory cooking skills.

- Outdoor play time on the large sports field and newly constructed playground, plus organized sports and games.
- Full day Early Learning and Care provided on PA days, school breaks and during Summer Camp in August. Field trips and special visitors during these times occur regularly.
- Lunch is eaten in a relaxed family style setting. A microwave is available to heat lunches. Snack is provided in the afternoon.
