Maurice Cody Child Care has a licensed capacity for 110 children ages Preschool to 12 years. The Primary Division for Preschool, Kindergarten and Grade One children provides Early Learning and Care for 44 children. Early Learning opportunities and Care are provided for Grade One children during the time they are not participating in school classes.

- Outdoor play time on the newly constructed playground.
- Full day Early Learning and Care provided on PA days, school breaks and during Summer Camp in August. Field trips and special visitors during these times occur regularly.
- A hot mid-day lunch and afternoon snack are served in a relaxed family style setting.

- Large block construction area with play enriching accessories.
- Extensive collection of cognitive and construction toys, puzzles, games, various manipulative figures and other dramatic play props.
